Happy New Year

It has been a very busy 12 months for Stainless Band Ltd.

With the move to the new 14,000 sq ft premises in February, three new slitting lines and an Oscillating Winding machine we have increased production capacity by 30%!

The new Brooks precision line, built and fitted by Orion Link of the West Midlands, will slit materials from 0.10mm to 0.70mm thickness and vastly improve productivity and the quality we offer.

The new 800mm wide Brace 2A has given us more scope to buy wider, heavier coils reducing scrap, wastage and in turn, prices.

The new Oscillating Winding machine has been a big hit with clients. Producing 800kg coils in one bale, reducing downtime for clients when changing coils on press or forming machines.

The plan for 2015 is to refit existing machines to further improve quality and productivity, facilitating quicker delivery times for clients.
